COMPOTTIER IN CREIL ET MONTREAU

It is a compotier of Chinoiserie in Creil & Montreau, made in the 19th century. The Japon series is also famous, but this one incorporates the old Delft ware pattern. In the late 17th and 18th centuries, European Baroque and Rococo art was heavily incorporated with Chinoiserie.
