It is a compotier of Chinoiserie in Creil & Montreau, made in the 19th century. The Japon series is also famous, but this one incorporates the old Delft ware pattern. In the late 17th and 18th centuries, European Baroque and Rococo art was heavily incorporated with Chinoiserie. It is a plate that eloquently tells the story that it was a big rage in the world of ceramics, and it can be said that it is a testimonial plate of history.
Since it is a low compotier with a height of 6 cm on a hill, it can be used for a wide range of sweets, snacks, fruits, etc. There is no doubt that it will be a great success for congratulatory seats.
There are glazes and accumulations that seem to have formed during production. Other than that, there is no noticeable damage such as chips, and it is in good condition as an antique item, but it has been used for many years and has been used over time, so there are intrusions, stains and fine scratches. Please understand before purchasing.
There is a stamp on the back.
