Beautiful antique thimbles made of Limogi in a set of 2 in an original box! Rare.
A boxed thimble, like jewelry. It belongs to the famous kiln Aviland in Limoges. Even in such a small thing, the beauty of Limoges' long-established stores is condensed. In fact, there are many French women who collect thimbles. My grandmother-in-law was one of them. It is a rare item that I would like to use if you like sewing. I think it will be appreciated as a gift. Collector's item.
One is bright green, the other is Japonisme with a dark blue and red color scheme.
It is in very good condition for an antique and has no noticeable damage, but there are fine scratches and inconspicuous stains due to aging. Please purchase with understanding.
There is an aviland stamp on the inside.
