Barbotine is pottery made by molding mud containing clay. This is a very gorgeous plate with a pansy flower motif. It has a light pastel tone, and you can even feel the thin petals of pansies. A plate that looks good with cute sweets. It's a popular dish, but it's hard to get a chance to find something in good condition.
It is also wonderful to decorate in the interior.
The color of the ink is slightly reflected on the back, and there are some parts of the penetration that look like stains, but I think that also adds charm to this plate.
There is one very thin hairline on the back, but other than that, it is in very good condition as an antique item. Since it has been a long time, there are some stains and scratches. Please understand antiques before purchasing.
