Flat dish "jardinière" Sargminnes U&Cie before 1895

The popular series "Giardinière" with elaborate floral motifs. Manufactured until 1895. Rare. Miraculous perfection. Even though it is a single color, it is such a gorgeous flower garden. This blue is a special color that you will never forget once you see it. Blue is an important color for the French. In Christianity the color of the sky, the royal blue of the King of France, the blue of the tricolor. There are many different colors of blue, but the blue of this dish is bright and neat. I think it depends on the monitor, but unfortunately this color does not appear well in the photo. I am sorry. The color of the sky pierced through. It is not a dark blue, but a deep light blue.

It is an old plate from the Sargminne U &Cie era made by 1895. The Giardinière series has variations on the central flower. Here, the center is probably a daytime face, and the rim part is mainly peony.

Convenient size with a diameter of 21 cm. It is small for dinner plates, but it can also be used as a side dish, dessert, or plate. It has a good thickness and weight.

The luster remains firm, there is no noticeable damage, and there are only a few cutlery scratches. There are also no stains from intrusion. A miraculous condition.
