There are many that depict only landscapes, but this plate is beautifully designed with a rocaille pattern. The beauty more than compensates for the shortcomings such as ink threads, small chips, and stains. You can't help but look at each seaside pattern.

"Terre de fer" pottery with a lot of kaolin and feldspar added (semi-ceramic semi-porcelain) is called Terre de fer terre de ferre . It was first produced in 1770 and mass-produced in the late 19th century. It was made to be whiter and more robust.
